PRODUCTION OF PORCELAIN POST INSULATORS
The insulator is manufactured in strict accordance with the criteria of IEC60168 ‘Testing of porcelain and glass rod insulators for indoor and outdoor systems with rated voltages of 1000 V and above’.
The porcelain rod insulators are suitable for isolating and supporting the high frequency AC system and are connected to rated voltages of 35~1000 kV in transformer and distribution stations. The height of the working position should not exceed 1000 metres. Some special products can be used in a position whose altitude does not exceed 4000 metres. The normal ambient temperature should be between -40°C and +40°C.
Depending on the cleanliness class of the environment for operation, insulators are divided into three types: ordinary type, pollution protection type and heavy pollution protection type.
Based on the difference of the supported electrical equipment, insulators are divided into three types: busbar type and witch pole disconnector type, wave type.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The insulator is made by gluing porcelain parts to the upper and lower metal accessories with a cementing agent, The porcelain parts are painted with brown glaze on the surface or other colour glaze required by the client.
The surface of the metal accessories is hot-dip galvanised, and the voltage insulator of 363kV or above for the support busbar is equipped with voltage graduation rings. While the ordinary type insulator has a conventional canopy type, the pollution protection insulators and heavy-duty insulators have the canopy type shown below, which consists of canopies of different sizes with ridges underneath, a model that is optimally selected using an artificial pollution test. As the small canopies are protected by the large ones, they are not exposed to contamination. In addition, the large sections are separated by wider gaps, which improves the discharge characteristics between the sections, enhances the anti-contamination properties of the insulator and also offers the advantage of live flushing.
With nearly 30 years of production experience, the anti-fouling insulator can operate for a long time with reliable performance, while the cavity anti-fouling insulator is suitable for operation under the condition of a salt deposition density (SDD) of 0.08 mg-0.25 mg/s.

The company has a new generation furnace control system in Germany, with a new sensor and drive, supporting Siemens high-precision automatic dosing system, automatic feeding, stamping, temperature levelling, tempering, cold and hot strike control, has a scientific and standardised process supervision system, a complete set of material analysis laboratory, mechanical research laboratory, electrical test laboratory, etc.
